These offer a a very good value for the durability; however, I've found the break-in time much longer and more difficult to manage than other shoes. The heels are pretty stiff, and the very thick sole, while great for taking on the expected wear and tear of the toes, also tend to stick to the board more than I'm used to and took some time to adjust to. Back to the pros, they are very lightweight, are true to size, and the simple design is nice and distraction free.
They fell apart in like 4 months. The entire bottoms got ripped out somehow. Very disappointed
Best shoe out rn. Out performs competition on durability and excels in board feel. No break in period. I always change out to fp lows since standard insoles are obsolete.
Fantastic grip
Great looking show with good build quality. Only concern is how hard the shoe feels even after a month of wear. Replaced the insoles and that helped a lot.
I recently bought these Etnies, and I think they are great. Teaming up with Michellin tires for the rubber to last 3 times longer, that is a bonus that I value. I was expecting the shoes to be heavy like Vans or Emericas that look comparable, but they are not too heavy, they have a lighter weight than I thought they would. The styling is nice and girls say they are cute. At least I think I heard one say that. From now on I'm sticking with Etnies, because they are nicely styled, not too heavy, and are built to last.
Solid shoe, good board feel and durable
This shoe is amazing! Super durable, very grippy - but my only problem is the insoles durability. It starting wearing out very fast and I had to buy other insoles (FP Insoles - would highly recommend) to replace the quickly ripped etnies insole
I am not a skater, so I feel them a little hard, maybe they should put an option to choose type of shoe insoles, Option 1: traditional insoles or option 2: cushioned insoles for daily use, just an idea haha, otherwise they are nice shoes, they are my first shoes of this brand, I bought them in USA but I live in Guatemala because here there is not much choice of this brand. Greetings.
Clean black and white. Very classy!
