February 6, 2023 (Sharjah, UAE) – Aurelien Giraud took the men’s title at the skateboarding street world championships in Sharjah, UAE on Sunday. The moment before his fourth best trick attempt, Aurelien didn’t have enough points to medal.  Then he landed a big backside 360 kickflip earning a 91.48 score that put him in the lead on his path to becoming the world champ!

The street world championship event was a Paris 2024 Olympic qualifier with Olympic World Skateboard Ranking (OWSR) awarded.
