Yes. etnies has been a skateboard footwear company since 1986, and its lineup is built by skaters, for skaters. What’s the difference between Fader, Kingpin and Callicut?
All three are etnies icons, but they hit differently. Fader is the everyday classic: balanced padding, bold heel logo and true comfort. Kingpin leans puffier and more retro, with a plush tongue-and-collar feel. Callicut is the full throwback, chunkier, more statement-driven and straight out of etnies’ early-2000s icon era. Sal 23 is iconic because it captures a key piece of etnies history. First introduced in 1994 as Sal Barbier’s signature shoe, it helped define the clean, understated side of 90s skate footwear. The Snake is a reissued mid-’90s etnies low-top with a unique look and a wider-feeling, generously padded fit.
