My husband love them. We’ve ordered Etnies off Amazon before and gotten bad quality. It was nice getting these and realizing they are such good quality. Will definitely be ordering through Shop again. These shoes are comfortable and skater cool!
Was looking for a walk around show with as much cushioning without being a running shoe. I think this shoe is close. Got that feel on the heel but on the ball of the foot, you can feel thru the sole a little.
Super light and comfortable. Very flat foot bed. No support. no removable liner although added one with arch support. Shoe needs a few wears to stretch and be fully comfortable again.
Anyone without shit ankles and arches would find this super comfortable
These were comfortable the second I put them on. I’m an old lady that’s picky and I love these shoes. These are my second pair of Etnies in 3 months. I like them so much I had to have another pair. I get many compliments also. No one expects a grandma to be wearing skate shoes! But here I am!
No suede on the kicks, no elastic tounge bands to hold everything in place like it said in the description. About a half size big. All canvas, which any skater knows lasts about two sessions if your skating hard. Mine had a hole in one session. I wouldn't have purchased them even on sale had I known there was no suede on the toes. I shoe goo'd the second pair so they may last longer. They did skate fabulous though, and I was super impressed with the board feel.
This new style offers the elastic on the inside connected to the tongue and bottom of the insole to keep the tongue in place. My main gripe with the old styles were the tongue eyelet did nothing to prevent the tongue from staying in place. As soon as I laced these up I noticed no tongue eyelet and saw the elastic and was stoked.
Each lace guard has a small opening on the inside to use as a "pocket" but I don't see this being very practical after heavy skating, especially if you can skate both Regular and Switch. My old Andy's all protect the laces perfectly, however the lace guard stitching gets shredded, opening up the layers making up the lace guard. Small gripe but I won't be using these to stash anything anyway so it's not a big deal.
Overall these are designed just a bit differently than previous versions and like the title says, it's a major step up.
Love them. My boyfriend and I grew up adoring the brand. I can't wait till I decide which ones I want
Shoes are a great fit. I like the color and style of these. Nice little switch up from the DC brand used to wearing. Etnies has got my vote.
I was looking for an alternative to Stefan Janoski Nike SB shoes. The Barge LS are very comfortable right out of the box (I did swap the insert for a Dr. Scholl's insole, but I always do this). They are high-quality, solid shoes and the color is true to what's on website. They have become my new go-to shoes.
Great looking show with good build quality. Only concern is how hard the shoe feels even after a month of wear. Replaced the insoles and that helped a lot.
Your exchange policy turns out to be just annoying enough that I will tough this problem out, but it’s shocking how wide the heel is. The shoe otherwise would be a perfect fit and is the right size but the heel slippage is ridiculous.
Great pair of shoes, skated once to twice a week without fail, only just about wearing through the sole 10months in. Would defo recommend
I've had both the green and white and the black colourway in these shoes. I bought the second pair because the first were so comfortable straight out of the box. The shoe felt solid without compromising board feel or being too chunky. However, after about a month the lasting board started to crumble and shortly after the sole had worn through (which for me is the end of a shoe) whilst the uppers remained virtually untouched. Kinda disappointed with that and wished the outsole was as solid as the upper
Whenever I need shoes to wear for formal events like going to a wedding or an office, JAMESON 2 ECO are my go to. I have 2 pairs: green & black and Brown & Black. They are super comfy and stylish.
The other reviews state aspects regarding feet size and but I ordered my usual size and they fit me perfectly as usual and I do own other Etnies models other than JAMESON 2 ECO
They skate good without needing to be broken in. But the soles are flat style and do not absorb shock.
i wear size US14 - but these OG are too small - my toes touch too much on the front and sides - since US14 is the biggest size, i can never wear Marana OG again - only Marana Michelin fit better - for the rest these shoes are good
