The Joslin Vulc Michelin X Roots combines Chris Joslin’s no-compromise approach with a nature-inspired twist. This shoe translates the burly Joslin design into a slimmer vulcanized version—complete with a Michelin rubber outsole for extended lifespan even with a thinner sole. The Roots edition dresses it in earthy green canvas and tan vegan suede, reflecting the collection’s eco ethos. Despite the lighter build, it retains durability with double-wrap foxing and a rubberized toe underlay hidden beneath the canvas. A Foam Lite 1 insole provides comfort for heavy drops, and the low-cut padded collar keeps your foot snug. Finished with subtle tree embroidery near the heel, the Joslin Vulc X Roots delivers pro-level toughness in a lean, green package that’s kind to the planet.

Definitely love the shoes, yall should just make them more true to size, they run about a half size big
I usually don't get the vulcanized shoe but these were on sale so I figured I'd give them a try. There is more material by the toe so they don't wear out as fast but they are more stiff and have a harder feel than the cup sole. Still a decent shoe but for skating I'll stick with the cup sole.

Nice contrast between the whites, snug fit not too tight, round laces, tongue is tethered to the sole which is perfect for skating, especially with torn laces, and of course the Michelin sole is always a league above the rest. Love a good Etnies sale

Clean look and durable. I’ve owned a few pairs of the Joslin Vulc and these look great and fit perfect.
It's a good pretty comfortable shoe didn't have no break in time I've been skating them with rubber grip tape for 7 months and wow if you like bored feel you should go with these shoes I don't know how long they would last on regular grip
