etnies’ best-selling Jameson 2 Eco is a low-top skate shoe made with sustainability in mind. Its faux-vulc cupsole uses 20% recycled rubber and the upper incorporates recycled plastic, yet it retains a slim, classic look. A Foam Lite 1 insole, egg-crate midsole, and thin padded tongue/collar provide boardfeel and comfort. Every purchase plants a tree as part of etnies’ reforestation project.

I have had several pairs of ecos now and sadly they just don't last more than 6mths before the canvas just rips. I only use them for the office as well The shoe fits so well and is comfy but The old ones used to last years. These new materials just don't work. It is a sad day to have find a new shoes :-(

$70 including shipping while their supposedly on sale is just far too much for a shoe like this with relatively simple flat construction and cheap slippery sole material. I love the fit and style, but the color is off from the pic and is absolutely jet black not any shade of charcoal. My last pair held up well with casual use but these clearly wouldn't hold up very long to heavy active use, skating or otherwise.
In all these would be just about perfect, and I'd own multiple colors, if they could be had under $40 shipped.
Love the Jameson 2 series. Have 10 colorways. But these new ones fall apart fast. I dont even skate in mine. I wear them as an alternative to dress shoes. I want to order a new pair but I dont need them tearing in a few weeks. My older pairs do not have any of the issues these new eco ones do. The heels wear but the shoe it self doesn't disintegrate. Older versions were 10x better. I asked about warranty with my most recent pair and was told sorry. Step it up etnies. There aren't a whole lot of us out there repping yall.

Great shoes, super comfy, only issue I see is that the bottoms are super smooth almost like plastic, not rubber, causing slippage.
