Beefiest mountain bike shoe I've tried.

This is a beefy stiff shoe that they as say in the description is meant for Enduro/down hill riding. It's a heavy stiff shoe that provides a lot of protection. The camber pros are A little bit lighter duty and more grip but not nearly as stiff or as armored.
Of all the shoes they make this would be my second pick after the camber pro. I wish they would put the new Michelin tread design on this shoe and then it might be a little better.

If you're looking for a stiff shoe with good pedal transfer and a lot of foot protection this is the best I've found when it comes to those qualities.

Made For MTB/Cycling Use

My first ever pair of MTB specific shoes. I have owned these for awhile now. They grip great (using pedal pins mostly). At first they did seem a little tight and stiff, they almost felt like dress shoes, even clanking on the ground like dress shoes. But after around a dozen rides they loosen up a bit and feel like they fit correct. I ordered my regular size 9.5. These are stiff because they're MTB shoes. Stiff shoes help protect you feet against impacts and also for transferring power to your pedals, which is especially important when cranking uphill. The material seems watertight and bullet-proof. I like em.

Solid shoe. All black keeps me from wearing dress shoes and when they get worn in, i kick em down to my skate shoes and order a new pair when they go on sale

Glue coming apart

I like the shoes but after wearing one time the glue holding the sole is coming apart already!

Wow!!

These are possible the best flat pedal shoe ive ever ridden!! Firm yet still flexible sole! The bottom is amazingly gripy, regardless of how the sole looks the colaberation with michillen was a great combination of grip and durability!!!!! Literally went from clipless pedals back to flats because of these shoes!!

Best MTB Shoe

These are by far the most comfortable MTB shoes I own. Size is spot on and they are stiff in the sole. Excellent grip with my OneUps as well

They're fine

They're stiffer than expected and soles are not super grippy on the ground. I wish I would have stuck with Michelin Marana skate shoes for my style of riding.

Durable shoe

Very durable shoe. However, the soles are very hard, and they don’t flex much. The soles are also almost slick near the front of the shoe.Overall these are fairly good comfortable shoes. The soles are quite loud when walking on polished concrete flooring. They do have a good amount of padding to reduce impact on your feet. I haven’t bought a pair of Etnies in a while, so I forgot that their shoes run a bit tight especially with the cushioning inside the shoe, and I didn’t order a 1/2 size larger, but thats on me. I honestly think if Etnies continues to work with Michelin to find a compromise between noise reduction, durability, grip, and flexibility for the soles then maybe in the future this shoe would be a very awesome shoe. But for now I am left wanting more. I also think the shoe right now are terrific for outdoor wear; the shoes are quite water resistant, they provide support for your feet, allow me not to worry about walking on sharp gravel or objects that can harm the bottom of my feet.
