They are really good, but I need change for one zize 12 It's possible
This shoe is great even on long rides. I use it on my gravel bike and can go for miles and be comfortable throughout the ride. Love the looks. I can't go full roadie look quite yet.
Etnies knocked these out of the park. By far the most durable Mtb shoe I’ve ever worn.
Love these shoes. Extremely comfortable and the dirt gator keeps those tiny stones from getting in.
The only problems are is that they get swampy when riding in 95+ degree weather, but this happens to most non CX shoes. Also I hate tying laces and tucking them in. I removed the laces from the top two eyelets, clipped them, and installed a push button quick lace. That combined with the velcro is more than enough to secure them.
Wouldn’t call this a complain since I bought these shoes during the sale and I got what I payed for. After three rides the front of the shoe are peeling off,,looks like the glue it’s not as strong as the shoes look.
Bulky and uncomfortable returned them
Fit is great, I normally wear vans 10.5, went with a 10 in these and they were a bit snug at first but broke in for a perfect fit after one ride. The closure keeps small rocks out. I was impressed with the amount of toe protection.
As a long time skateboarder turned mtb'er, I was excited that Etnies finally had a clipless mtb shoe. As an individual who spends long days in my bike shoes often with long hike-a-bikes through the San Juan Mountains, I find these to be quite comfortable. The sole isn't so stiff that it makes walking awkward and there is loads of grip to make those punchy pushes uphill much easier. They seem very well made, although more miles will ultimately determine how well they hold up.
There are two things about these shoes that I find odd or off-putting. First, the shoe seems to be made VERY wide in the upper part of the shoe at mid-foot. There is such an excess of material that I can pinch multiple layers together on the inside of the shoe (above the foot arch). It doesn't seem to serve a purpose and makes it difficult to get a secure fit. I have a medium width foot and could not imagine what the foot looks like that these were built around. Secondly, the neoprene sock... I really like the idea, but the execution needs some revisions. As there is no stitching in the upper part of the neoprene holding it to the shoe, it creates a very large hollow space between the shoe and the excess material mentioned above. After my first ride in these, I dumped a large amount of dirt out and had to spend some time digging what I could out. Some of that dirt will live in there forever and continue to collect every ride. Some people may be fine with these flaws and think you should try them on for yourself, but they were deal breakers for me. I really wanted to like these shoes and I will probably keep them around for certain days/rides, but I will need to purchase something different as a daily driver.
Best downhill / enduro clip shoe I have worn to date. Coming off the Giro Chamber and Afton clip shoe. Comfortable, stiff, good for hike a bike, dry feet in the rain. 10/10
Clip location is great, solid mount. Comfortable to walk in and wear off the bike. The ankle skirt is fairly tight and can be a nuisance to get on but, it does the job and not something that would prevent me from buying. I have a wide foot and my size fit fine, although I have the Camber Mids in flats in a 1/2 size bigger and they fit better. You may want to size up 1/2 a size. Overall, great shoe! I will buy again when the current pair wears out.
