I switched from wearing vulcanized shoes with thinner soles to these. Not quite the board feel I’m used to, obviously, but it was worth it for the improved support and comfort, especially since I’m in my mid-thirties and weight close to 200lb. I have to say they break in quick though and are great for skating. The bottom of my soles are holding up nicely, which is where I usually see most wear and tear (front foot ball of foot). I wear a true size 11, so anything on the small/tight side hurts my toes, but these shoes fit perfectly right out of the box, which I was very impressed with. Lastly, for the anyone on the Enties product team, I ordered the charcoal/black because it’s the only option that excludes that giant ugly Etnies symbol on the side of the shoe. I would not have purchased if this model which specifically excludes your giant symbol was not an option but I think it’s bogus that you charge more $ for this color-way.
Looking for a cup sole show with great support this shoe is great. Feels like a cup sole, because it is. Stiff until you break them in but they skate well. Vert skating is nice with no slip. My foot placement stays where it needs to. Flat ground is nice too. Flick is consistent and not too snappy. Feet do not hurt after skating like in a vulc shoe. They are a little bit shallow and my heel slips out but I do use inserts. Great shoe for the price.
Great shoes, please release more vegan color ways and don't stop making this one.
