I’ve been skating for years and decided to finally try an Etnies shoe and chose this one. It is a fantastic skate shoe. It has a really good flick straight out the box and last a long time and the bottom of the shoe is grippy and takes forever to wear down. But if you haven’t skated a solid cupsole shoe in a while it will take some time to get used to. This shoe is very durable and comfortable which is why it gets 4 stars. It loses a start for the alternate lacing system if I used the alternate lacing system, it doesn’t go high enough to keep the shoe nice and secure around my foot, if that went up high the shoe would be perfect.
Takes a while to break in and get used to. But the grip is amazing and the extra cushion is a nice change from vulc shoes. I usually only skate in these if my feet are sore and tired but wear them daily when at work or out and about. Very comfortable, durable and look great. Definitely won't be my last pair!
I’ve been skating a couple hrs everyday n after a week and a half and just now starting to ware on the toe I love these shoes I was very skeptical about paying $100 but now I’m convinced there worth the money
Great padding, wear protection. All around best shoe for skating
It took me too long to try out these shoes! These shoes have a simplicity to them, but they are a solid skate shoe. So far for me, they definitely live up to the hype. Everything about these shoes are amazing, but the sizing. I wear 12 in just about everything. Most people suggest going up half a size but 12.5 isn't available and going to a 13, I feel is too much of a jump. Although its tight in the toe area, I'm making the 12s work.
