Culvert Mid in my top 2 mtb kicks. Comfortable, great protection, pocket to keep laces, reflective elements. For cold, wet weather these are #1 for sure. Rebel G
Sizing is spot on, impressed with the grip on the pedals. I was worried about going away from my previous brand but highly recommend these to get flat pedal rider.
Great pair of biking shoes with perfect grip and a snug fit
Unlike my last pair of MTB shoes, these ones are incredibly stiff throughout the shoe. While this does have the benefit of less flex while on pedal, it's stiff enough that it also loses a bit of pedal feel, and isn't ideal off the bike. They've improved with time, but I've been trying to break them in by walking and biking in them, and massaging the tongue, unfortunately the shoes still clop when walking, and the tongue digs nicely into my shin(I can't for the life of me figure out how to situate the tongue in a comfortable place). They look nice, the weather resistance is good, and they are very plush inside. Size wise I went with my usual 11, they are slightly smaller than my Mariana Slip-ons of the same size, and the width is narrower as well. They still fit, but it may be worth sizing half a size up depending on preferred toe gap.
