Being a part of the enjoi camp and a veteran of the Tilt Mode Army, Jose Rojo no doubt knows how to have a good time, both on and off his board. With classic parts in both the original Tilt Mode video and Man Down and a sleeper hit in enjoi’s Bag of Suck, Jose combines tech wizardry and bangers with a tall-guy style as smooth as a fine wine, to make it go down easy. All and all, Jose is right at home with etnies and we're glad to have him on board.
Growing up in San Jose, a nine-year-old Jose first picked up a board to be like his cousins. Around the age of 15 the hobby turned into a passion and Jose started skating with SJ locals like Ricky Espinoza and Chris Black. Jose later joined up with the enjoi crew and has been repping the panda since day one.
When he's not killing it on his board, you might find Jose fishing (see if you can find some photos of him on Bassturdz), hanging out with SJ or Long Beach homies or shopping for a fresh pair of jeans. Off the board, Jose is just a good time all around, always joking and always smiling. And let’s not forget the plethora of fishing stories in his head that he's willing to share.
All healed up from injuries, Jose put down a grip of tricks in the enjoi United Nations at The Berrics and recently left behind his man-am status by turning pro, which coincided with his addition to the etnies team quite nicely. If the rumors are true, we may even see a part from him in the new Tilt Mode video Bonus Round as well.
