Designed and tested by Aaron Ross, the etnies Number Mid is exactly what he was looking for in a BMX shoe – a cupsole with a grippy outsole featuring System G2 in the heel and STI Foam Lite level 1 cushioning footbed for support. This BMX-specific outsole features a herringbone tread pattern designed to grip pedals, but also releases when needed without tearing. A dense EVA shank in the arch provides extra protection from the pedals without sacrificing pedal feel, while softer EVA on the toe and heel provide extra flexibility and comfort. Andy Just got my 1st pair of Number Mid and they are fantastic. They are a really mad bright blue colour with a bright yellow, see through sole and yellow laces. They are awesome. Super comfortable and very light weight. You can also take the velcro strap off to give a different look. Give these babies a try. They are magic!!

Francisco Carriço Those are just really good. But the white ribbon Velcro is to big, if it was a little shorter it could be great.

DougDeGrave Just got my 4th pair of Number Mids yesterday. Usually with new kicks that look this good I try to keep them fresh, maximizing their fashion value. But not with these pups, I can't wait to strap these shoes on and start abusing the $%*t out of them! Only problems I've had were with the one pair that had a suede upper, which ripped prematurely along the outsole. Also ,another pair for some reason, caused severe discomfort to my pinky toe. But that's more an issue of my anatomy. My little toe just happens to jam right into a heavily stitched seam inside the shoe causing discomfort.
I love this shoe and all the crazy colorways that Aaron Ross comes up with. Not a big fan of his colorful bikes, but it works well when applied to footwear.
I hope this shoe becomes a staple to the Etnies line. If any brand managers are reading this, please don't discontinue the Number! -
