For every pair of Kid’s Jameson 2 Eco shoes made, etnies will plant a tree in the rainforest.
Much of the Earth’s rainforests have been destroyed for farming over the last 80 years, and etnies is going to help reverse deforestation one pair of shoes at a time by planting trees in the La Reserva Forest in Costa Rica. The rainforests help curb global warming by providing more than a quarter of the oxygen to the world, and are home to hundreds of species of animals.

Laura I bought these shoes for my 8 year old son in late August. It's now late November and these shoes are ready for the trash. They are literally falling apart. The soles are fine; they look almost brand new. The canvas is separating from itself leaving large holes in several places on the shoes. In addition the edge of the area near the grommets for the laces flipped up almost immediately and can't be glued back down because then it restricts the movement of the tongue. (I know...I tried). The laces are too slick and too stretchy to be tied properly. I was going to replace them but the shoes fell apart so quickly that I wasn't about to spend more money on them. I'm embarrassed to send my son to school in these shoes, but I don't have $45 to drop every three months, so they will have to hold together long enough for Santa to come in a month. This is the worst item I believe I've ever purchased. The first time I've dealt with etnies will be my last. I'd give them zero stars if I could.
