For spring 2012, etnies continues to partner with The Keep A Breast Foundation (KAB) to raise awareness and support for KAB’s continuing efforts to eradicate breast cancer by exposing young people to methods of prevention, early detection and support.
KAB harnesses the power of art to communicate complex feelings and thoughts about health, the female form and ultimately about breast cancer. etnies also designed a tee for spring 2012, called Reserve, to help bring awareness to a new KAB program called "Non Toxic Revolution" which aims to inspire young people to revolt against the dangers of toxic chemicals in their environment and food supply especially those linked to the initiation of breast cancer. A portion of the proceeds from the etnies Keep A Breast items will benefit KAB’s programs
The etnies x KAB spring 2012 collection includes etnies Girl’s Flats, sandals and A KAB Caprice Eco shoe, and men’s tees, including the "Owl Dome" and "I Love Languages" tee with the saying that brings attention to the cause: “I Love Boobies.”
