The best 16 and under amateur surfers around the Sunshine State congregated to the short stretch of beach just south of New Smyrna Inlet last Saturday, Aug. 13th in hopes of adding a Rip Curl GromSearch Title to their resume. The small conditions favored those lighter on their feet and quicker through each maneuver.
Luke Marks, put on a clinic in his Boys 12 and under final and came out dominant, while also locking in a fourth place finish in the Boys 14 and under division.
