Any female may participate in the gro skateboard and BMX workshops during X Games.  Sign up at X Games at the gro table in the Team ESPN tent.  What do you need?  If you are under 18 you will need a parent or legal guardian to sign you up.  You also need some good skate shoes or other tennis shoes to learn to ride.  So leave your sandals at home!

This is your opportunity to get experienced in action sports.  Watch the top female athletes compete, meet them at one of the gro Athlete Signings and then learn to ride yourself.  There is truly something for everyone.  Check out the schedule and join gro for X Games Seventeen!

X Games dedicates Girls’ Day to the women of action sports through special programming surrounding the action sports lifestyle in the areas of music, BMX Freestyle, Moto X and Skateboard. Join us for Girls’ Day on Friday, July 29th for clinics taught by professional female athletes, autograph signings with female athletes and gift bags for early attendees. Confirmed athletes to date include Angie Marino, Nina Buitrago, Mini Park, Peta Shepherd and Camila Harambour.
