July 22, 2011 (Lake Forest, CA) – As the Comic-Con 2011 festivities began yesterday, we held a private launch party for 150 fans at the El Dorado Cocktail Lounge in San Diego to celebrate the etnies x Kevin Smith collaboration shoe, the SMEAKER.

The VIP event included complimentary beer from Pabst Blue Ribbon, shoe giveaways, quality time with Kevin Smith and a live taping of his popular podcast, SModcast, with long-time film associate and co-host Scott Mosier.

With etnies’ following and Kevin Smith’s ongoing projects, including his podcasts, films and comics, their connection of fans first sparked the coveted 2010 etnies Clerks Jameson. Its follow up, the limited edition SMEAKER, continues the collaboration, this time celebrating Kevin Smith’s popular SModcast.
