Our BMX Petition has made some waves and the Lake Forest City Council will meet tomorrow to decide on the Skatepark peg ban. The good news is the decision isn’t final yet, and anyone from the public can speak to the city council at the meeting and their opinion will be heard. Don't waste this opportunity; JOIN US TOMORROW AT 7PM and you can make a difference!
Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Lake Forest City Hall:
25550 Commercentre Drive
Council Chambers
Lake Forest, CA 92630
How can I speak in front of the City Council?
Members of the public can speak in front of the City Council under "Public Comments," or on an item that is listed under "Consent Calendar" or "Public Hearings." Speakers are to fill out a "Request to Speak" card located on the table by the door and hand it to staff. Speakers are limited to three minutes each.
The Ralph M. Brown Act (the State Local Agency open meeting law) prohibits the City Council from acting on any matter that is not on the agenda. Generally, the City Council refers such matters to staff for investigation and/or resolution.
