Another Costa Rica update from the etnies camp!

So after we stuffed our faces and hung with the Maleku, it was time to do what we came here to do, plant some trees! We left the village and headed out to the area where the etnies Forest will begin. La Reserva Foundation works with local farmers who donate their land for restoration to its original glory, full rainforest.

We held a pretty big ceremony to thank all the farmers who have donated their land and of course to unveil the etnies Rainforest sign! After all the photos we finally got our hands dirty and started putting trees in the ground.

It was a really long day and a lot to take in from hanging with the Maleku tribe to actually getting to be a part of the beginning stages of new growth in Costa Rica. I think some of the boys even threw in some seeds of their own ;) Tomorrow will be our first day on the coast and it couldn't come any sooner, all the boys are starting to get the itch...
