Another Costa Rica update from Joey!
Welcome etnies
Here are some photos of the day we spent with the Maleku Tribe on their reservation. As soon as we showed up we were herded into a tiny hut with a fire burning in the middle. The Maleku wanted to show us some traditional dances and prayers so we lined the hut and took it all in (we got this on video and you guys will trip when you see it, pretty crazy shit!). The Maleku are considered Costa Rica's defender of the trees and although their dependence on nature isn't as great as it used to be, they still keep their traditions alive and have great respect for the forest they live in.
The tribe and ours
After we left the hut we headed over to a huge field for lunch and some activities. We were greeted by about 300 Malekus all amped to meet Sheckler! Even in the middle of no where, Sheckler is still a rock star. We got to shoot bows and arrows with the tribe and even got down with some futbol! We had a blast hanging for a couple hours with the Maleku but then headed out to plant some trees...
Custom deck for Sheck
Headed into Jaco now so I will send all those over as soon as we get back! Yeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!

Pour mes prochaines vacances, je prévoie d'aller en France. J'opterai pour une location courte durée à la place de l'hôtel. Beaucoup moins cher et plus pratique !
