etnies homey and BMX racing bad-ass Tyler Brown dropped us a line:
Another race down and another race report! Last weekend I went to good ole Louisville, KY (pronounced Lul’vul for the locals). It was the NBL Grand Nationals, and the last stop of the year for the NBL. This is a race I have been to for the last few years and always a great one. I have not done any other NBL races this season so I wasn’t up for a top national number, I came strictly to have fun and kick some butt! Check out below to see how my weekend went.
· Usually there is a LCQ pro race Friday night. They changed it this year so it didn’t count for points, it was just a “Pro Money Open.” In motos I finished 3rd, and 2nd. I also finished 2nd in the semi and was in the main. I had a bad start in the main, then ran into some traffic on the track and finished 8th.
· NBL Grand National Time! I was feeling good and riding the best I have in a while. In motos I finished 1st, 4th, 3rd. I made it through the semi again and was onto the main. The main was stacked with all the top riders in it. I had a great start from the outside and rode a solid lap for the 3rd place, and a spot on the podium for the day!
All in all it was a great racing weekend. I was happy making both mains and finishing the Grand’s with a podium! I haven’t raced in the last 2 months due to filming the MTV show. I am now finished with that and back into full race mode! I have a lot of races coming up, with the next stop being round 3 of the World Cup Series here in Chula Vista. I really want to thank you and Etnies for your support! Have a great day and talk to you soon.
