“Modern” skatepark. Royal Oak Michigan

It's been a few years since the team visited the Modern skatepark in Novi, MI; at the time the park was located in a mall & was pretty “vanilla”, I have to say. The park since has moved, with more street & free flowing terrain than the majority of the parks we’ve ever been to & is 200% better than anything before. George, the owner rolled out the red carpet & didn’t hold anything back... Basically let us do whatever we wanted to do & schedule however we wanted to make shit happen & make the kids happy. Unlike the norm, we started out with the autograph session before the guys rode & the line went on for miles. Aaron got mobbed when we got there & Jamie definitely got a case of writer’s cramp, I would have to say, with the rest of the team working hard in comparison.

Modern had some cool ass kids with no vibes which is waaaay out of the norm for a lot of parks we’ve been to, & with far too much cool terrain to ride & way too much cool shit going down I’ll have to let the pictures tell the story.
