A friend suggested that we check out a Jenny Owen Youngs - a singer songwriter opening for Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls - while she was in town from the east coast. So we did.

We snuck out of the office a little early, hopped on the north bound train to LA and made our way over to the Troubadour. No better way to spend a Thursday night, in our opinion.

Jenny was great and the crowd of Angelenos took to her like she was one of their own. I loved that she was quick-witted and clever onstage. Take a peek at her video, you might like her too.
