BK en Espana!

Jun 2 2009 / Tuesday

La nocheLa noche

According to Brian, la semana pasada fue increible. I don't actually know how to say amazing in Spanish, but "incredible" should suffice. Here's what BK said in English:

Last week was amazing. I had the pleasure of visiting Javier and Sergio in my first ever trip to their beautiful country. I wasn't really sure what to expect when going to Spain but it is definitely one of my favorite places I've ever visited. I first visited Malaga and the adventure started right away. Over the course of 3 action packed days we went siteseeing, rock climbing, beaching, castles, riding and of course I can't forget the tapas and bodegas! MMM! Thanks Javi and Jesus for being amazing tour guides, climbing instructors and teaching us more about Spain. There is so much history there, it's very amazing and humbling.

Next we ventured up north to Madrid. Madrid is a huge city and despite that, it's quite clean, unique and still chill. Sergio and Angel Layos took us under their wing and showed us the city. From the moment we got there we were well fed at La Factoria by the Layos family. Sergio's Mom is to thank for a buffet of amazing food as well. If you are ever in Madrid you need to visit their restaurant and taste it for yourself. As if all that wasn't enough they gave us a place to rest our heads after long days of great times. Como se dice?: you guys are awesome!

Thanks to Javi, Jesus, and the Layos family for making this a trip to remember and thanks for putting up with my slowly progressing Spanish vocabulary.

Muchas Gracias!
