Morgan lookback

Well, in vast contrast to day 1, day 2 went much smoother. The RV was up 'n running once again, but with 400 miles to get to Ollie’s from just outside of Nashville, our ETA was about 7pm.

Rolling up to the park was awesome; there was no rain and it was an indoor wood park. Dans Competition were already making things happen inside - hyping kids up, giving away raffle tickets to win a bunch of free shit. Kids were already shredding. And then everyone turned it up a notch once the team arrived, which seems pretty much par for the course in my experience. It seems like kids are automatically auditioning for the team. With a turn out of about 250 BMXers everyone was having a good time and some serious stuff was already going down… and not just from the team either. There were definitely guys firing out flairs, double whips etc on demand... There was some good energy in the air.

Nathan Williams is a Dans Comp rider and is a definite favorite with kids these days… It pretty much took him longer than anyone on the team to actually ride after having to talk to kids and admirers, but he took it in stride and was a complete Pro. There was a good mini ramp session with a decent sized crowd cheering guys on. The overall session lasted a good few hours culminating with an autograph signing, Dans Competition raffle draw & a step-up flyout session on the wedge to deck. The team had a great time at Ollie’s & tomorrow the tour heads north toward New Jersey….600+ miles!
