The boys of Grace&Manners check in with an update on living the dream:
We are in the process of recording our new e.p ourselves, and will be getting it to a few labels for distribution. The studio we use is our own, in Eagle Rock, and we are getting a few of the tracks mixed in Sweden, and some locally. Our tracking days usually consist of :
- talking about nonsense for the first hour, ie; various rashes, hangovers, aches and pains and exploits. Getting old is no fun.
- Finding a suitable tone for the song(we have a lot of gear) This process undoubtedly ends up with us using the same old Gibson Les Paul and Marshall combination, which just goes to show that you cant mess with the best.
- Around this time someone is usually sent out for food. Its is always unhealthy.
- After tracking guitars and bass for 6-7 hours, we tend to be exhausted, so we finish up and regroup the following day.
-Next up. DRUMS (stay tuned)
