Deegan Talks LLF on ESPN
Brian Deegan's been focusing a lot of time and energy toward the Lusk Legacy Foundation, in honor of his friend and Metal Mulisha brother, Jeremy Lusk. He recently sat to chat about it with ESPN's Chris Tadesco:
"The Lusk Legacy Foundation is like a big brother that is going to back all the riders. If they don't want to ride at an event because it's sketchy, or there aren't the right medics on site, basically they call us and we back them up to make things right. For any rider that is part of the foundation, I want to make sure that there is at least an EMT, if not a trauma surgeon on site at the smaller US and overseas events that normally don't have a good medical staff. Our goal is to make the sport safer and protect the guys so something like Lusk's tragedy in Costa Rica never happens again."
