Going the distance on a bs 5050
etnies came out to beautiful Kansas City in the beginning of the summer for Go Skateboarding Day (that’s right, about six months ago now.) Mikey Taylor, Devine Calloway, Davis Torgerson, Kyle Leaper, Jose Rojo all rolled into town to celebrate the holiday with Sean Malto. It was hot as hell, but Go Skate Day was great. Hundreds of kids came out to the skatepark where there was a demo of sorts and a best trick contest.
Naturally, our boy Dillon Aguilar took home the gold with the best kickflip tailslide ever seen. Devin, Kyle, and Jose took off the morning after, but Mikey, Davis, and Malto stayed around for about a week... which was probably the hottest week ever in Kansas City... 100 degrees at some points. Our days were mostly spent indoors huddled around an AC unit or playing volleyball in the Mansion’s pool. We were able to skate some days and ended up getting some cool stuff. Here’s some photographic evidence...
