This is WAYYY of topic,
but what the hell happened to ORIGINALITY in skateboarding?
seriously.
Its all about market now and making it big,
nobody even cares about just skating for fun, or being consistantly original anymore.
I mean, yea its hard to do that with so many people skating,
but like, even board graphics are turning all the same now,
it makes me wanna give up on skating seeing the lack of effort for originality, ugh disgusting.

it takes major dedication to work out, so I'm not surprised that sheckler takes it seriously. He just has that kind of mentality, and that's why he's at the top of his game, making millions of dollars. Love him or hate him, but you gotta give him props for being successful, he's earned it.

Ryan Sheckler is a big sell out. And why in the hell is he talking about being big, and people saying he's big. I don't even lift weights that much and i'm "bigger" and definately stronger than him. I seen him on the show benchin 100 lbs thats beyond the point though. Ryan Sheckler has single handed ruined skateboarding, Rob & Big was a good thing. Im sick and fucking tired of seeing all these dry ass skaters coming with the same dry fabricated style just fitting a mold now it makes me not want to even be associated with skateboarding sometimes. I was doing fine, but I completely lost it when I saw him on that proactive commercial, he's just a burnout anyway.

2003-2004sk8was the best i agree with you for the most part man,
except the nike thing,
yea, they prolly are in it to make a little money, but just because the big guys upstairs anna doesnt mean everyone that works there does,
i think their a good company that makes a solid shoe and their DONT DO IT campaign is amazing,
