Ruben got a package...
It was a super cool surprise when I found this book in the mail coming from Japan...
This photographer was doing a tour in CA to edit this skate culture book. He started riding bmx and knew me very well. By coincidence, he was there visiting and got to shoot this picture while I was shooting for Grounded... and he used it for his book!
I'm very stoked about it. People like the skater Rick McCrank are in this book; it's all about traveling in a skate culture atsmosphere and he put a picture of me riding! It's so crazy! He says that lots of people have cool things to say about it. I think it is one the best career souvenirs that I have. I think books like this are really cool ... etnies should do one too! Will be awesome!
