Derek Dunfee broke his leg but keeps on keepin' on...

So here is a little explanation of how I broke my leg:

While working as a boatman in Tavarua, I got pretty hurt surfing Cloudbreak. I got clipped trying to pull into a barrel ( the wave was only 8-10ft on the face) and ended up with a spiral fracture on the lower part of my fibula. I had to fly home to get surgery, and I got 8 screws and a plate put in. I already got my cast off, and I started rehab on my leg/ankle. I have been putting almost all my weight on my leg without pain, so I am sure I will heal fast. I have been rehabing my leg 3 times a week and working out everyday with my brother Shane Hurdman who is a personal trainer. With the way things are going, I will be out in the water in no time!
