etnies Girl skate team rider Lauren Perkins traveled to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., at the end of April for a fun-filled day of music in the sweltering heat. Here’s a snapshot of her day. After a two-and-a-half-hour drive, I finally made it to Coachella. The line was long to get in, but well worth it. Right when we walked in we got to Silversun Pickups, who I hadn’t really heard before, but they were super good. I got to see Peaches, who was pretty intense! But my favorite by far was Interpol; they killed it. It was pretty crowded, so I wasn’t able to get too close, but I got close enough. To top off a good day of awesome music and strong heat, we saw a drunk guy get completely jumped and then the cops arrested the other guy, which was pretty crazy! So after all that, we just pretty much went back to the house and went to bed! I left on Saturday because I had to take care of stuff back home. But it was a lot fun! Thanks, etnies!
