20-year-old Shane Cross was fatally injured while riding on the back of Ali Boulala's motorcycle in Australia.
Flip has put together an online condolence book so everyone can leave comments and thoughts for Shane’s family and friends. Messages of sympathy and kind words are appreciated.
Due to the many unfounded rumors circling the skateboard world at the moment we are issuing this statement to hopefully end these rumors: "After the crash that tragically took the life of Shane Cross, Ali Boulala was put in a hospital induced coma to stabilize his condition. As of today the hospital is planning on bringing Ali out of the controlled coma on Monday 12th March. We will update the news on Ali when we have some."
We have created a comment section where fans and friends can leave messages to Ali and his family.

hey ali pull through buddy ur like my fav skater there is nothin that make me sadder then 2 see u not make it pal wat u mean 2 me and probably thousands of other kids is indescribable and shane you were and amazing skateboarder and esepecially for ur age it amazes me 2 think of wat u did at el toro or any of ur achievements u will be greatly missed

I hope Ali recovers soon. Ali is one of the dopest skaters around. That 25 set he tried to ollie took some serious balls. He didn't make it the first time, but he tried again. I hate to hear when skaters die. It could have been at least a basketballer.

Damn this is the last thing i expected for real R.I.P Shane and Ali u got 2 pull through man the Flip team needs u and there's people out there who still wanna see them crazy antics of yours. To the fam of Shane i just wanna say how sorry i am and that he will be missed dearly. To the fam of Ali he's gonna pull through i know it he's a good guy and God will help him through this.

shane u were an awsome skater and i think that everyone can agree on that you were also one of the nice guys I have ever met aswell every time i go skateboarding its going to be dedicated to you.
