Ryan and his Slam trophy.
Just a quick note from the road...Ryan Sheckler was seriously killing it all weekend at Tampa Pro. Many many people had their money on him to win, and it might have happened had he not smacked his head harder than hell on a kickflip backlip down the big rail in his second run of the finals. The slam shook him up quite a bit, but he still came back and skated his third run pretty well. In the end, Ryan took 5th place, and won Skateboarder magazine's award for Best Slam. Congrats Ryan!

yes ryan did try and did his best, i got to see im yesterday at the finals , and right after he told me n my bro he would give us his autograph after he did his run , he fell really hard! poor kid , i couldnt see him so i was like jumpin up and down tryin to see and when i did , ryan was just laying on the floor knocked out, I FELT SOO BAD!! then when they tok him out of the building me and my bro went out there to see him but we styaed like 10 ft. away , he looked liek he was hurting really bad, but then i had to leave so i didnt get his autograph or get to see him sk8 again, but im glad he is alright! Ryan u could of gotten 1st or second place easy if u hadnt of fallen! so rock on shecky! p.s u owe me n my bro an autograph lol jk!
