Bestwick: Athlete Of The Year 2005

We already knew this was coming after he won everything there is to win last year, but now Jamie Bestwick has been awarded the "official" title of International Freesports Athlete of the Year 2005.

Seeing as how Jamie won pretty much every event he entered in 2005, going bigger and doing crazier tricks than anyone could imagine (remember the double tailwhip flair!), it is no wonder that Jamie is, hands down, athlete of the year! Congrats Jamie!

  7. Some of you guys watch too much tv! BESTWICK is by far one of the BEST ever on a bmx bike. Jamie has been winning for years, and Guettler has been winning for one. Jamie has more big tricks than any rider. Bar spin 540s, downside tailwhip flairs, double downside whip flairs, Turndown to x up flairs, no handed flairs, fast plant opposite flairs, 20 foot carving alley oop 540s, let me stop there before all of us start to cry. He's that good! He's the only rider to push vert in the past 5 years with 10 new bangers a year bro! Bestwick is the dopest bike rider in the history of the sport!
