The big Elissa Steamer news is that Check It Out Girls Magazine named her “Best Female Skater” for the second consecutive year. She attended a party in L.A. on May 6, where she received her award. According to her team manager, “lots of madness” went down at the party. She has since recovered from the night of debauchery and is back up in San Francisco in her normal routine: skating! Summer is pretty much here, so everyday is a perfect day for shredding. Her schedule will start to get hectic in mid-June, so she’ll just be chilling in SF until then.

Lauren Perkins has been basically doing the same as Elissa—minus the partying! She’s been home in Huntington Beach, Calif., doing schoolwork, skating and enjoying the nice weather. She also recently attended an etnies Girl photo shoot in Malibu. Lauren’s schedule will also start getting hectic in mid-June, but she’ll be chilling at home until then.
