And the winner is...
Congratulations to Elissa Steamer for being named Check It Out Girls Magazine’s “Best Female Skater of 2004”! This is the second year in a row that Check It Out’s readers have named her their favorite skater, making Elissa the only person ever to receive the magazine’s “Best Female Skater” award. She will be presented with the award on May 6 in Los Angeles at a party that will also include live music, Check It Out’s issue 17 launch and the premiere of “Shake Junt,” a video featuring Elissa, the Baker team, Peter Eldridge, Ryan Nix, Jon Flip and many others. Thank you to everyone who voted for her!
