This Saturday, April 16, the first ever Nikita Chickita Snowdown will be held at Northstar-at-Tahoe, and etnies Girl riders Alexis Waite, Jacqui Berg, Leanne Pelosi and Laura Hadar will all be competing in the etnies Girl-sponsored event.

The all-girls slopestyle and rail jam invitational will bring the most progressive female snowboarders in the world together for a day of fun, style and, of course, a chance to vie for their share of the $10,000 prize purse and one of four trips to the Icelandic Park Project in Iceland.

With a park designed by Northstar-at-Tahoe, the Nikita Chickita Snowdown will feature both Am and Pro Slopestyle and Rail Jam divisions. Both divisions will be invite-only, with the Pro riders responsible for choosing what Ams will compete. The day-long shred session will also feature live music and a BBQ, and will be topped off with one hell of an after party.
