Jodie Nelson filmed the last episode of the second season of “Summerland” a couple of weeks ago. Immediately after wrapping filming, she did a Nixon ad campaign photo shoot (right when the waves were going off—it always works out that way), and the next day she became an auntie again when her sister had a baby! Other than that, she’s been surfing a lot a Lowers and shot a couple of days in Oceanside and at Salt Creek.

Lovely Big Sur

Mary Osborne recently spent a relaxing weekend in beautiful Big Sur, on the central California coast. She saw llamas, elephant seals, zebras, horses, condors, waterfalls and so much more…and wishes she hadn’t left her camera at home! Check out the photo she took with her cell phone. Not bad, right? Mary loved her trip and says she can’t wait to go back to surf. Today, she left for Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to teach at the Paskowitz Surf Camp.
