Bastien: mid big spin flippy front boardy.
Mucho congrats to Bastien Salabanzi and Stefan Janoski for ripping hard at Tampa Pro last weekend. Bastien was the "man to beat" and came in second right behind Dennis Busenitz who skated hard and fast, with the only flawless run of the finals. Bastien had the crowd on hits feet though when he landed a LARGE gap kickflip to front board down the center rail after time ran out. He did it for the love. Oh yeah, it was second try. First try and mid-run, Bastien also decided to bigflip front board down the big flat rail. Emcee Clyde Singleton had no qualms about repeatedly announcing that Bastien was his favorite skateboarder.
As for Stefan, well he got 10th place in street (smooth switch kickflips and backside nollie flips over the hip and buttery tre flips over the pyramid) and Vert Wall Best trick (switch kicky to wallride and switch frontside 5-0 out of the quarterpipe to wall).
Stay tuned for a full etnies Tampa/Miami skate tour and RV (aka: Keg on Wheels) story. You'll see ridiculous things like puking team managers, Denny's chill sessions, guitar playing hippy skateboarders and more...
