Jodie Nelson has been racking up the frequent flyer miles recently! She just got back from Park City, Utah, where she was FUEL TV’s on-air host for the X-Dance Action Sports Film Festival, and Aspen, Colo., where she was the on-air host for ESPN for parts of the Winter X Games. Jodie is considering going to Australia for the surf contest early next month, and has also been asked to go on a big wave filming trip at the same time, so her travels won’t be ending anytime soon. Mary Osborne has been working on “Sister Surfer,” an inspirational how-to book she wrote with Kia Afcari that will guide women through the slippery and often harrowing process of learning how to surf, covering everything from how to conquer fear to how to wax a surfboard. She is also getting ready to go on a surf trip to Mexico with SG Magazine next week.
