etnies would like to congratulate Jun Jo for winning the JPSA Toshiba Cup in Izumi Beach, Chiba, Japan! The contest was the final event of the JPSA (Japan Professional Surfing Association) 2005 tour.

Jun was clearly on top of his game and swept every heat on his way to the finals.

Although he lives in Honolulu, Jun, who has been appointed captain of the Zoo York Institute Surf Crew, is a regular competitor on the JPSA tour and a two-time former overall tour champion. Despite only surfing in a few JPSA events this year, he finished the season in 3rd place overall.

Jun was born in Japan and moved to Hawaii at age five. He grew up surfing on the Eastside of Oahu and has been charging ever since. Out of the water, he’s also co-owner of the world-renowned Honolulu streetwear store, In4mation. Congrats on the win Jun, you make etnies proud!
