Brett Metcalfe takes the lites overall.

In the Supercross lites/125 class Brett Metcalfe won the first night and took second on night two for first place overall in class and his first US Open championship. Racer X did an interview with Brett after the race.

Josh Hansen rode a good race for being off all season with limited testing time, he got second place behind Metcalfe on night one and sixth place night two for second overall. etnies riders went 1-2-3 on night one; Metcalfe, Hansen, and Billy Laninovich. Mike Brown rounded out the top five for the first night on his new Rockstar/Bill's Pipes/Suzuki and seventh in night two for seventh overall.

Fresh out of the amateur ranks, Jake Weimer is the newest member of the Amsoil/Chaparral/Honda team and he made a huge statement in his professional debut. A little nervous in his first pro race Jake took seventh place in night one, and once the butterflies were worked out Jake was on the podium in the main event on night two for sixth overall. Nice job Jake. Transworld has an interview with Jake Weimer that you should go read.

After sitting out the outdoor season Mike LaRocco made a strong comeback to Supercross with fourth overall in the Supercross class.
