The Sundance Film Festival opened Thursday with the world premiere of the quirky comedy Happy Endings, marking the start of the top festival in the U.S. for independent film. The movie is just the first of 120 feature films and 82 shorts that will be screened before Robert Redford’s indie film festival wraps up on January 30. This year, Sundance has drawn record crowds to Park City, Utah for 10 days of packed screenings, celebrity sightings and parties. Stars like Carmen Electra, Vince Vaughn, Keanu Reeves and Snoop Dogg have arrived or are expected to attend, and etnies is there to catch all the action.
etnies has teamed up with Premiere magazine this year to take part in the Premiere Magazine Film & Music Lounge, a VIP venue at Sundance that hosts everything from film press conferences and interviews with actors, to film premiere afterparties and live concerts, to a celebrity hangout. As part of the event, etnies is giving out shoes and apparel, including the Arto, Callicut, The Tip, Floyd, the Lo-Cut 3, the Stencil hoodie, the Ward Zip Up, the Drip T-Shirt, and the Stencil, Romney and Icon beanies, to celebrities who come through the Premiere Lounge.
