Moto-X Team Report 09-09-04

Sep 9 2004 / Thursday

Brian Deegan has been riding at the compound and is getting ready for the Gravity Games in Cleveland, Ohio on September 15-19. Moto-X begins on Friday, September 17 at 4:00 p.m.

Jeremy Stenberg is also going to be at the Gravity Games. Dayne Kinnaird was supposed to be there, but a broken foot will keep him out this year.

Trigger Gumm is going to Alaska in two weeks to do a jump-off with a snowmobile at the fair. Both guys are going to be jumping over 200 ft. on dirt.

Tim Ferry will not ride in the U. S. Open in Vegas this year. He and his wife Evie are expecting their first child around the beginning of October. Tim has ridden recently and said his hand is feeling pretty good.

A Kawasaki bike will win this years Pro Honda Oils Supersport Championship, as will a Hayden--we just donҒt know which one. Today, it was Roger Lee, the youngest of the brothers, taking his third win in a row and fourth of the year on a sunny afternoon at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia. Older brother Tommy got 2nd, with Yamahas Jason Disalvo coming in 3rd. Roger LeeҒs win allowed him to close-up on Tommy with only the final round at Virginia International Raceway remaining. Tommys lead is down to 10 points, 326 to 316. TheyҒre the only two who can claim the number one crown.
