For the third consecutive year, etnies is hosting the Bowlmasters at The Cradle in Brixlegg, Austria from June 25-27, 2004. The Cradle, one of Europes finest concrete skateparks, is located in the heart of the Austrian mountains in Brixlegg. Built in 2001 by the Dreamland crew, who built the Burnside Skatepark in the United States, the park covers an 11, 000 meter (118,403 square foot) area. An overview is available at skatethecradle.com
The Cradle skatepark attracts international talent like etnies pro Rune Glifberg and last yearҒs winner, Manuel Palacios, who have already announced their attendance, as well as Ben Krahn, just to mention a few.
For the first time, the etnies Bowlmasters will be part of the World Cup Skateboarding (WCS) concrete pool tour. The first European stop is Marseille, France from June 18-20 for the legendary Quiksilver Bowlriders. With Brixlegg as the next tour stop, a bus transfer via the new skatepark in Bologna, Italy to Brixlegg will be organized for the participating riders.
