is proud to present the Seventh annual etnies European Open, a pure skateboarding event. This time, a couple new locations were chosen: The first stop will be in Linkping, Sweden, an outdoor concrete skatepark. The second stop is Munich, which has established itself as THE European street event in skateboarding. The last stop will be beautiful Rome at the seaside resort of Lido di Ostia, including an outdoor skatepark equipped with obstacles built by IOU Ramps just two minutes away from the beach.
Over the last seven years, the etnies European Open has expanded to become one of the greatest skateboarding events in Europe. To prove this point, more than 200 skateboarders competed in the street discipline in Munich alone last year. The etnies European Open events are also the qualifiers for the World Cup Skateboarding events in Europe. Please check www.wcsk8.com
for additional information and dates.
The etnies European Open contests are held as open events, so everybody has the chance to compete. More than 200 skateboarders from all over Europe are expected, with 10,000 Euro prize money awarded at each stop. The Top 100 riders according to last years scoring are directly qualified for the qualification on Saturday. All the others have to skate the pre-elimination on Friday.
