Adding another 1st place finish to his ever-growing list of contest wins, thirteen-year old Ryan Sheckler grabbed the Gold in street at the Gravity Games in Cleveland, Ohio this weekend.
With difficult tricks executed in clean lines, Ryan's skating at the Gravity Games was similar to his performance at the X Games in Los Angeles a month ago--near perfection. Connecting tricks back-to-back throughout the entire street course, Ryan put together runs that many may have previously only expected from an experienced pro. But with the name that Ryan has already made for himself in pro skateboarding contests at the young age of thirteen, not any more.
Turning pro only six months ago, etnies' own Ryan Sheckler has now won three of the biggest contests in skateboarding: Slam City Jam, 2003 X Games, and now the 2003 Gravity Games. With the year almost over and only one huge skateboarding contest left--the Triple Crown finals in Oceanside--the question on everyone's mind seems to be, "What's next?"
etnies would like to congratulate Ryan on yet another 1st place finish as one of the youngest pro skateboarders in history. Congratulations, Ryan!
