has just released Yes New York
(named in tribute to No New York
, the Brian Eno-produced New York no wave music scene compilation from 1978), an amazing comp that features some of the really great bands coming out of the NYC music scene right now, like The Rapture, Interpol, lcd Soundsystem, Calla, Radio4, Ted Leo and The Fever. Proceeds from Yes New York
will benefit Musicians On Call
, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing music and musicians into hospitals. All of the songs collected here were donated by the artists.

Vice Records has commissioned a local NYC accessories designer, Brooklyn-based Lovers & Rebels

to create a limited number of leather wrist cuffs in honor of Yes New York
. They retail for about $75 each. We know that's pricey, but guess what? You can enter our contest to win your chance at scoring a grand prize of a cuff, a copy of Yes New York
and a pair of etnies shoes. Three runners-up get an etnies T-shirt and a copy of the CD.
